Lately Cambri has been singing songs to herself. She usually will just sing parts of songs we sing to her. She gets some of it right and some of it not so right. It's fun to hear her interpretation of the songs. One of my favorite's is her interpretation of Rock a Bye Baby, she only does the first half of the song but it is so cute and funny. She includes names of 2 of her family members, Pops (her grandpa) and Kado (her cousin).

Love watching her grow and learn and be creative!

Kate: 1 Month
I can't believe my itsy bitsy baby is already 1 month old. She is starting to move her neck around a lot when she is awake. She looks at everything and every one with the biggest eyes and she looks so fascinated by everything. She loves to be cuddled and held and is very patient with all of her big sisters loving kisses pokes and maulings. She's a total binky addict. She eats well and sleeps well. She does well going for rides in the car as long as the car is moving. Her hair is so fluffy and poofy and sticks straight up. She loves everyone and everyone loves her!

Best Sisters
I pulled out the camera to take some pictures of Kate and of course Cambri had to get in on the action. Cambri loves her sister Kate. Every morning when she wakes up she asks for Kate. She is constantly wanting to hold her or kiss her. She goes up to Kate and says "love you Kate" all the time. She likes to help put Kate's binky in her mouth and for some reason she doesn't think Kate should wear socks because she takes her socks off about 20 times a day.

Easter 2013
Easter was the day after we brought Kate home from the hospital. With Kate in the NICU and Cambri's birthday I actually totally forgot about Easter. Lucky for me Aunt Marcia was on top of it and got Cambri a Dora the Explorer doll and matching dresses for the girls. We had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Matheson and the rest of the family. The kids got to do a few Easter egg hunts and we took some pictures of all the cousins in their pretty Easter outfits.

Kate Comes Home and Cambri's Birthday
A day or two before Cambri's birthday we weren't sure what to do about a party for her because we didn't know what was going to happen with Kate. We decided to let my mom help us throw together a quick party for Cambri on her birthday. My plan was to spend the whole first part of the day at the hospital with Kate and to then leave a little earlier than normal so I could be at Cambri's party. Our plans were changed when we got a call early Saturday morning (the day of Cambri's birthday) from the NICU telling us we take Kate home that day. We were so happy to be able to bring her home on Cambri's birthday. It made it a special day for both of them. Cambri loved her sister right away and wanted to give her lots of kisses and loves.

Our first family picture as a family of 4...plus her 2 barbies that she would not put down.
For Cambri's birthday we had my mom's yummy home made bread with some meats and cheeses plus a lot of other snacks that many family members contributed too. The kids did an easter egg hunt out side and played in the back yard. We thought about making a cake but decided that with everything going on that was something we could just buy instead so we got a bright, cute cake from macey's that was perfect for Cambri. Cambri had a great time playing with cousins and eating cake, ice cream and cheetos.

Hospital and NICU pictures of Kate
Once they realized she had breathed in fluid and they had to breath for her
On the cpap and hooked up to all the monitors
Getting ready to transport her from Orem Community Hospital to UVRMC
In her transportation box
Here she is in the UVRMC NICU and on the ventilator.
This is the first picture we got with her eyes open when she was 2 days old.
Kate with her proud daddy.
Aunts and cousins looking at Kate through the window in the NICU. We got lucky she was in the spot right next to a window. Most baby's are not so close.
Daddy finally getting to hold his daughter.
The first time mommy got to see and hold her baby. She was 4 days old.
Getting her spa treatment....not really. She was a little jaundice so they put the mask on her to protect her eyes and put her under the lights to help that.
Her first bath. She was about 1 week old when she got her first real bath.
